Business Development Manager - Sonar Piezoceramics, Sensors, and Transducers

Seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead the growth of sonar piezoceramics, sensors, and transducers for commercial and military applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the sensor business development field and a proven track record of success in securing new business and managing existing programs.

Key responsibilities include delivering double-digit growth in the military and aerospace market, coordinating long-range strategic planning activities, and working collaboratively with the Mil/Aero Director of Business Development.

The Business Development Manager will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates closely with all other business functions, and will be required to have a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Strong strategic selling skills and a deal-closer mentality are essential for this role, with a focus on securing new business and managing existing programs.

The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Applications and sales database management tools, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

The ideal candidate will be able to make oral presentations, provide cross-functional leadership, and demonstrate a strong ability to provide technical assistance to customers.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with internal engineering, finance, and product management teams to develop proposals that address the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.

The salary for this position is $140K - $180K plus commission, with a competitive compensation package for a highly motivated and results-driven individual.

The position is remote, but the ideal candidate will reside in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire near our customers.
