A New Approach To App Development

If you have a vision for an app but lack the time, resources or technical know-how to develop it, you need a team of developers who can build your app from start to finish.

With global mobile application revenues expected to reach $188.9 billion by 2020, being an early mover in this space is crucial for startups looking for funding and success. It’s also crucial for established companies who want to stay competitive in the market.

We believe that building powerful apps should be easy. We’re here to make the process of building a custom app simple and quick, so you can focus on what matters most: your business.

Last week Microsoft announced a new approach to app development at the Microsoft Build 2019 conference. The new tool, called Sketch2Code, allows users to upload their sketches created in the popular design app Adobe Sketch and convert them into working web apps.

Microsoft’s new Sketch2Code tool makes it fast and easy for anyone to create web apps from scratch. It’s still a prototype, but it is already available for use here on GitHub . Users can upload their designs from Sketch as a PNG file, and the tool will automatically parse the content and generate HTML code. This is a great way for developers to get started with app development.

We built Sketch2Code for all levels of developers, but especially those who are just starting out in app development. It’s also a great way for developers who are familiar with HTML to learn more about how web apps work. We believe that this tool will enable developers of all levels to build more user-centric apps.

At its core, Sketch2Code is powered by AI. It uses computer vision machine learning models to identify your design elements and output HTML code that you can use to build your app. And because it’s powered by AI, the tool gets smarter over time as it learns from your designs.

The mobile app market is competitive. There are millions of apps available for download on iOS and Google Play, and it’s increasingly difficult to get your app noticed. If you’re a startup or small business, your best bet is to choose a narrow niche, which will help you stay ahead of the competition. But in order to compete with the big players, you’ll need a professional-quality mobile app.

Sketch2Code hopes to help startups and SMBs overcome this hurdle by automating much of the tedious process of coding, making it easier for non-programmers to create functional applications. The company recently released a free tool that will automatically generate code from an uploaded image file, such as a hand-drawn mockup of an app interface.

The last two decades have seen a technological revolution in the way we create and consume software. During the early 2000s, the proliferation of smartphones and mobile apps changed everything. Just a decade later, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing ushered in a new era of software development.

Today, developers are once again at an inflection point. The latest wave of innovation is taking place in the startups and enterprises that are developing AI-powered applications for end users.

A new generation of AI models will have a dramatically different impact on our lives than previous technologies like mobile apps. Thanks to advancements in deep learning, AI is already beginning to automate many tasks that have traditionally required human intelligence. As this trend continues, most consumers will interact with artificial intelligence systems more frequently than humans by 2022.

You might have heard that Instagram “stole” features from Snapchat and killed it. Or that Facebook has been copying Snapchat’s features since 2013. In this post, I’ll give you a brief history of how Facebook has been copying Snapchat and what Snapchat can learn from Instagram to win the war against Facebook.

What is Snapchat?

Snapchat is a social media platform where users share pictures and videos that disappear after a short period of time (up to 10 seconds). On Snapchat, you get to send and receive pictures, videos, and chat messages with your friends and family. You can also add filters, text, stickers to your snaps.

What is Instagram?

Instagram is another social media platform where users share pictures and videos but content does not disappear after a short period of time. On Instagram, you get to connect with your friends and family by following them, liking and commenting on their posts. You can also share stories using Instagram stories feature where content disappears after 24 hours.

Sketch2Code is a Microsoft Garage project that uses AI to turn screenshots of hand-drawn website wireframes into HTML code.

The idea for Sketch2Code was born out of the need for rapid prototyping of web applications and websites. The project, developed by Microsoft employees Yasharth Chauhan, Srishti Jain, and Avanade alumnus Harsha Bandi, is designed to help developers quickly turn screenshots of hand-drawn website wireframes into HTML code.

The team knew they needed to design something that would be useful to a wide range of people, regardless of technical skill set or role in the software development lifecycle. Because Sketch2Code is built on Azure Cognitive Services, the AI platform is easily accessible through an interface that anyone can use.
