Overview

The Intermediate Python Developer (CPT Hybrid) role in Cape Town, Western Cape, is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong foundation in Python programming and a keen eye for detail. As a Backend admin system developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of a company’s admin system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the backend admin system, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. Design and develop scalable and secure backend architecture. Work with databases to ensure data integrity and consistency. Implement testing and debugging procedures to ensure high-quality code. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase. ### Technical Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python x and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Knowledge of web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud). Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

    Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data structures. Proficiency in Python programming language. Proficiency in Django framework. Strong understanding of database management systems. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency in data modeling and database design. Prof skills in data manipulation and analysis. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting. Proficiency in data mining and predictive analytics. Proficiency in data quality control and assurance. Proficiency in data security and access control. Proficiency in data governance and compliance. Proficiency in data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Proficiency in data warehousing and business intelligence.

    Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
