In this article, I will try and tell you the best places to sit in a classroom. The back of the class is one of those places. First of all, it is quiet back there. You get to see what’s going on at the front of the room, but not too close-up. Also, there is usually a window back there. You can look out the window and see cool stuff happening outside without getting in trouble.
Another place that is good to sit is in the middle of the room. If you sit in the middle, you will be able to hear everything and see everything really well because it is right there where everybody is doing everything. But I don’t like sitting right next to another person because then they might want to talk to me or something, and that would be weird. So if you are going to sit in the middle, you should maybe only sit next to someone if they are your friend or something like that.

Best Places to Sit in a Classroom
When you’re looking for the best places to sit in a classroom, it’s important that you don’t just pick the first seat you see. You want a seat that is going to help you get the most out of your class experience. Here are some factors to keep in mind when looking for the best place to sit:
The first thing you want to consider when choosing where to sit is how close or far away from the teacher you want to be. Every student has different learning preferences, so it is up to you whether or not you would like a front row seat or one all the way in the back. If you have an attention deficit problem, then sitting far away from temptations (like computer screens and windows) may be a good choice. However, if you have difficulty hearing, then sitting close to the teacher may be better for you. Either way, make sure that once you choose your seat that it will not distract other students (for example, by sitting next to someone who always chews gum).

Some people are just very curious as to where they should sit in a classroom. I don’t blame them! They want the proper learning environment and don’t necessarily know what that is yet.

The best places to sit in a classroom are the third row from the front and the last row from the back. The first row is too close to the professor, and it is hard to see over all of the laptops that will be open in front of you. The second and fourth rows are not good either because there are too many students between you and the professor. Sitting in the last row shields you from distractions, but you will have a harder time hearing what the professor is saying. If you can’t sit in those rows, sit on an aisle. That way, you can easily get up if you need to go to the bathroom or leave class early.
“I can’t see the blackboard!” is a common cry from students in the back of the classroom.
But what about the students in the front of the classroom? Can they see?
The answer is a resounding “yes!” In fact, there are many advantages to sitting in the front of a classroom. Students who sit in the front of a classroom have better grades, are more engaged and on task than other students, and are generally happier people.
So next time you walk into class and think, “Ugh… I have to sit all the way in the back,” think again. You may be doing yourself a disservice.
