Korean and Japanese beauty products have been a phenomenon for the past decade. The popularity of Asian beauty products has skyrocketed, especially in America. The demand for these beauty products is so high that it’s even led to some beauty companies purchasing them from Asia in bulk and then repackaging them and selling them for higher prices.

A lot of people have been curious about these beauty products and have been wanting to try them out for themselves. However, with so many different types of Asian beauty products on the market, it can be difficult to find the right ones to try. So I decided to create this list of 22 life changing Asian beauty products that I think are definitely worth trying out!

This is the second article in my series 22 Life Changing Asian Beauty Products. You can read the first post here. In this post, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite cleansing balms, oils and gels, which are a crucial step in any Asian beauty routine to remove makeup and cleanse away dirt and pollution that has built up throughout the day.

I’ll be sharing some of my favorite products and also some tips on how to use them effectively. I’ve included a video at the end of this post that shows how I use these products in my own skincare routine.

The double-cleansing method is something that is widely used in Korea and Japan, but perhaps not as common in other parts of the world. This method consists of using an oil-based cleanser such as mineral oil or a cleansing balm, followed by a water-based cleanser such as a gel or foam cleanser.

The logic behind this is that oil-based cleansers are great for makeup removal and breaking down sebum, sunscreen etc. Water-based cleansers work better at removing water-based impurities like sweat and residue from your first cleanser. By using both types of cleansers back to back you ensure that all types of impurities

The Asian Beauty scene is one that is always changing and evolving. With new products released daily and trends constantly changing, it’s easy to get lost in all the confusion. In an attempt to sort through all this mess, I’ve compiled my list of 22 life-changing Asian beauty products.

1. Bioré UV Perfect Milk SPF50+ PA++++

Japanese sunscreen provides you with the highest level of protection possible against UVA rays. The perfect milk by Bioré is one of the most popular Japanese sunscreens available and for good reason! This light weight gel formula absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a white cast on your skin (perfect for darker skin tones). The best part about this sunscreen is that it works well under makeup! After using this you won’t be able to go back to using American sunscreens again.

2. Sulwhasoo Snowise Exfoliating Gel

Sulwhasoo is a high end Korean skincare brand that makes products from traditional Korean medicinal herbs. This exfoliating gel literally crumbles onto your face as you rub it in, providing gentle exfoliation while removing dead skin cells. The result? Baby soft skin!

3. Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hi everyone. My name is Angela, and I’m a self-confessed Asian beauty junkie. I love all things Korean & Japanese, especially the skincare and makeup!

I’m currently a university student in Australia, and I plan to do my Masters in Asia next year. I’m hoping to move to Seoul or Tokyo, but I’ll see how it goes!

I started this blog when I realised that none of my friends or family members were interested in the products that I loved and used everyday. So I just thought it would be fun to create a space where people who are also interested in Asian beauty could share their experiences with each other!

I’ve always been a fan of Asian beauty products. Many people think that the secret to their products is that they use innovative technology, but I find that it’s more about being able to identify what is missing in the market and filling that gap.

For example, if you look at the Asian beauty market right now, there’s a huge demand for BB cream. The reason? Because it’s a product that combines skin care with cosmetics, so it saves women time getting ready in the morning.

Another great example is this product called “Gel Eyeliner with Built-in Brush,” which allows you to create perfect eyeliner flicks on the go. I like this product because it’s so simple and easy to use. You don’t even have to carry around an eyeliner brush anymore!

In fact, many of my clients are buying these kinds of Asian beauty products and selling them in their own stores because they know their customers will love them too. They’re also a great alternative for those who have sensitive skin or allergies since these brands tend to use natural ingredients such as green tea extract which is very soothing on your skin.

So if you’re looking for some new products to try out this year, I suggest checking out what Asia has offer!”
