CodeHub is built by an entirely remote team spread across the globe. As a result, every day is “Bring Your Dog to Work Day.”

In the spirit of open source software development, CodeHub always has and always will be, free and open source. It is the goal of the project to allow a community to develop a kick-ass code review app that simplifies code review for all involved. CodeHub brings the GitHub experience to your iPad and iPhone so you can stay in touch with your teams, collaborate, code, manage issues, assign work, plan sprints and more from anywhere!

CodeHub is an iOS application written using Xamarin.iOS by Joe Burgess. CodeHub was originally released in October 2012 for free on the Apple App Store [1]. The main purpose was to bring a native iOS experience to the GitHub network because at that time there were no apps available to do so. While there are now many options available to choose from for consuming GitHub content on iOS devices, CodeHub has always distinguished itself from other apps by being free and open source software.

It is the goal of CodeHub to become an application that is easy enough for anyone to contribute towards regardless of experience level as well as a fantastic resource for developers to learn about iOS development.
