There are several ways you can help.                     a blog on how you can help save the rainforests in a way that shows how serious you are about helping. At least 80 percent of the developed world’s diet originated in the tropical rainforest. According to “The Cultural Survival Report,” over half of the world’s species of plants, animals and microorganisms will be destroyed or severely threatened over the next quarter century due to rainforest deforestation. Rain Forests could completely vanish in a hundred years at the current rate of deforestation.

The rainforests’ destruction must be stopped.

However, it is not easy. The main reason for people cutting down trees is for money. The best way to stop this would be so that people do not need to make money from destroying forests. Unfortunately the only way for this is for the rich countries like America and Britain to give money to the poorer countries like Brazil and Indonesia so they do not have to rely on farming and logging as their main source of income. This would also provide jobs for people who used to cut down trees and would benefit them more than cutting down trees as they would save money as they will no longer have to pay

What Can Be Done to Stop the Destruction of Rain Forests? There are several ways you can help.

1. Buy Rain Forest Safe Products

2. Write Letters to Congress or Your Local Environmental Agency

You could even host an event in your neighborhood such as a protest or bake sale and donate the money to a rain forest charity or environmental group.                     a blog on how you can help save the rainforests in a way that shows how serious you are about helping.

4. Volunteer With an Environmental Group

5. Donate Money to the Rain Forest-Donating money is one of the best ways to help because it helps provide funding for research and scientists who work hard every day to save these precious ecosystems. If you’re in college, you may even be able to get credit for doing this!

What Can Be Done to Stop the Destruction of Rain Forests? There are several ways you can help. One way is to support organizations that are working to stop the destruction. The World Resources Institute, Rainforest Action Network and Greenpeace are some of the organizations that are working to end rainforest destruction. Another way you can help is through your consumption habits. Avoid products made from rainforest trees; such as teak furniture, hardwood floors, and mahogany doors, fences and decks. Avoid eating beef or pork from factory farms that clear out rainforests for grazing land and soybean fields for animal feed. Look for labels stating “CFC-free” on aerosol cans and “recycled paper” on paper products. This will ensure you are not contributing to CFC emissions or paper production from rainforest trees. A third way you can help is by writing a letter to your local congressman expressing your opinion about ending rainforest destruction. You could also write an article in your local newspaper or start a blog on how you can help save the rainforests in a way that shows how serious you are about helping.

Rain forests are important to humans because they produce oxygen, store carbon dioxide, protect the soil and supply us with food, medicines and building materials. There are many reasons why rain forests are being destroyed. In addition to their natural resources, rain forests also contain valuable minerals and oil. When these are discovered, governments often allow loggers to clear land for mining operations.

The destruction of the rain forest is happening at an alarming rate. According to the World Wildlife Fund, “an area the size of a football field is cleared every second.” To put this in perspective, that’s enough land to fill up 1 million U.S. football fields each year.

What Can Be Done to Stop the Destruction of Rain Forests? There are several ways you can help.

Don’t purchase products made from endangered trees like rosewood or mahogany unless you know they were harvested legally.

Save water by purchasing a low-flow showerhead or turning off the water while brushing your teeth.

Use recycled paper whenever possible, including notebook paper and copy paper at work.

Buy coffee grown on certified organic farms; coffee plantations have contributed greatly to deforestation in developing countries.

Support organizations working for conservation of rain forests like Greenpeace or The Nature Conservancy

As the world’s rain forests disappear, the lives of indigenous people and animals are also destroyed. Rain forests are being destroyed at an alarming rate. We must act now to save them before it’s too late.

Some people claim that saving the rain forest is not important, but nothing could be further from the truth. The countless plants, animals and even indigenous people who live in these forests will all die out if the rain forests continue to be destroyed. It is important that we act now to prevent this from happening.

The first step in stopping the destruction of our rain forests is education. Once people know what is happening to our planet, they will realize that we must do something to stop it. In order for this to happen, everyone involved must take a stand. Individuals can make a difference by taking action on a personal level, such as by reducing their use of paper products or buying more environmentally friendly products made from recycled materials. Corporations should also take steps toward using less packaging on their products and producing more environmentally friendly items that are better for both the environment and the customer.

Saving the trees in our tropical rain forest is imperative for many reasons: one reason being that without trees there would be no oxygen or food sources for humans and animals alike;

The rain forests of the world may well be the largest remaining source of untapped medicinal plants. They are also home to half of all living species on the planet.

Rainforests are defined as having an annual rainfall of more than 100 inches (2,500 mm) and a warm, humid climate. Worldwide, there are two types of rainforest: tropical and temperate. Tropical rainforests make up 6% of the Earth’s surface, while temperate rainforests take up 1%.

The destruction of rain forests has been going on since the early 1960s, but today it is happening at a much faster rate because of worldwide consumerism and mass commercialism. The main cause of the destruction of rainforests is land conversion, which is due to human activity. This includes cutting down trees for agriculture or grazing purposes and land conversion for mining or urbanization purposes. The second cause is logging for timber or fuel wood.

By 2011, almost 90% of West Africa’s original forest cover was gone, largely as a result of large-scale industrial logging activities. As recently as 1900, before large-scale logging and clearing began, forests covered approximately 60% of the West African nation of Ghana. But between 1990 and 2005 alone, Ghana lost almost 30
