I was recently asked to help someone out with a technical interview. This person was really good at what they did, but not technically minded. I have been through a number of technical interviews and am still in the process of applying for jobs.

I thought it might be useful to list some tips, tricks and pieces of advice that will help you pass the technical interview.

The technical interview is probably the most important step in the hiring process of an engineer. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best tool that companies have to assess their candidates.

As a former interviewer, I want to share some tips and tricks to pass an interview with a developer. These are the things that I’ve learned over time that help me in my daily job and in these interviews. Know that there are no universal truths here, but it will give you some ideas and pieces of advice that will help you have better results.

In this article, I will tell you what to do to pass the technical interview with a developer. There are many tips and tricks, and sometimes it’s difficult to learn all of them. But if you take into account even some of the tips, you will have a good chance of getting hired.

First of all – how does the technical interview look like? Usually, it is a one-hour meeting during which a developer asks several questions to the candidate. The main goal is to see how well he understands certain technologies and whether he will be able to work independently in the project.

A lot of people have been asking me how to pass a technical interview with a developer.

As a software engineer I have sat on both sides of the interview process, interviewing candidates and being interviewed myself – I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t work.

When I was interviewing candidates I always looked for two things:

-Candidates that had worked on projects before, they were more likely to be able to deliver.

-Candidates that were easy to talk to, that would fit with my team.

A lot of questions are designed to show your thought process in action. That’s why it’s important to take your time before answering any question (unless the interviewer tells you otherwise). Even if you know the answer, pause for a few seconds before answering so you show them how you think about solving problems. Your interviewer will appreciate this and will be more likely to hire you because of it.

Don’t be afraid to ask for clarification if something is unclear or there are parts of the question you don’t understand. If you don’t ask for clarification you may get the answer wrong because you misunderstood the question – which is not a great way to start an interview!
