Lorem Ipsum is the most boring placeholder text ever. It’s the go-to standard for dummy copy, but it’s been around for so long that we’re all sick of looking at it.
So, what are some alternatives? Designers are in luck: there are plenty of other dummy copy options readily available to them. A few good ones:

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.
