new code A blog about new coding languages and technology.

The latest new technology is always interesting. The youngest languages are often the most exciting. But not all of the technologies and languages are worth your time. We’ll help you to pick the right one for your project.

Modern code is amazing. The best developers in the world can develop an application in just a few days. The quality of the code is high, and so is the reliability of that software. But how do they do it?

A new code language is always rising in popularity these days. Always keeping an eye on what’s next is important not only for you to grow as a developer but also to bring value to your current work as well as future work.

Every new year brings new trends. This year is no different. Here are the top 3 trends in coding languages and technology you should be paying attention to in 2017 and beyond.

The first one, is Elixir. Elixir is a functional language that runs on the Erlang VM (BEAM). It has great support for concurrency, fault tolerance and distributed programming all with an easy syntax to read and write. Elixir also has built-in tooling like Mix for testing, compiling, running tasks and more. Elixir can help solve some of the biggest challenges facing companies today like scaling websites, applications and services across distributed machines. Companies already using Elixir include Pinterest, Bleacher Report and Moz.

Clojure is another general-purpose language that runs on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) which makes it possible for Clojure code to run on any platform with JVM installed. It offers powerful features like immutable data structures, interactive development and polymorphism via protocols which are similar to interfaces in other languages but they’re more flexible and extensible. The Internet is a communication tool used the world over. Where it differs from traditional tools is the diversity of information that is available. From the latest news to new programming languages, there is no end to what you can find with a few clicks of the mouse.

We aim to provide our readers with information on the latest and hottest trends in computer science. While we do not claim to have all of the answers, we are confident that you will find something new in each article.

We will also introduce you to some of the fresh faces in coding. These new programmers and designers are paving the way for an exciting future in technology.

When I was a kid, my dad was a computer programmer. He worked in Fortran and Assembly mostly, but he kept up with the latest trends.

One day, he brought home a new programming language: BASIC. It was a revelation to me at the time. I had always thought that computers were impossibly complex, and that only people like my dad could understand them. But here was something I could understand!

I started writing programs right away. They were simple programs, but they did very cool things. I would type them into the computer, then watch as they executed on-screen.

I remember one program that would draw colored x’s across the screen at random intervals. You’d see one start from the upper left corner, then slowly crawl down to the lower right corner before disappearing off-screen. Another one would take your name as input, then use it to generate an ASCII rocket ship that would blast off from the bottom of the screen and fly up toward you!

My programing career ended abruptly when my dad told me about a “new” language called C++. Like many other kids of his generation, he encouraged me to pick it up because it was “the future.” I decided to give it a shot – and promptly crashed

Dart is a new language, but it is already being used in Google’s latest web development environment. Dart is a class-based object oriented language. Dart was derived from JavaScript and C++, so if you have a background of either, learning Dart will be easy.

Using the dart2js transpiler, Dart can run on all modern browsers. In this example we will create a basic “Hello World” application in Dart using the latest editor Visual Studio Code. If you don’t have Visual Studio Code installed, you can download it for Mac or Windows here.

Install the Dart plugin for VS Code by opening up an empty folder and selecting “Dart: Get Dependencies” from the Command Palette.

Once that is finished installing, select “File > New File” to create a new file. Now copy and paste this code into your newly created file:

void main() {

print(‘Hello World!’);

}

You can now save your file and hit “F5”. This will open up Chrome with your new application running!

This is important, so I’m going to say it again.

You can’t make money by writing obscure code that only a few people can understand.

Yes, you can “make money” in the sense of “get paid for a job.” But you won’t get rich by charging your clients a fixed hourly rate. And if your only customers are other programmers, you probably won’t be able to sell them anything more expensive than a text editor either.
